Steam System Engineer

Responsible for design and oversight of heat recovery steam generating systems associated with process furnaces in petroleum applications.  Duties include sizing and preparing requisitions for riser and downcomer piping, steam drum including trim and PSV's, circulation pumps, piping & valves.  Instrumentation.  Perform system hydraulic calculations.  Perform piping components thickness calculations in accordance with the applicable codes and oversee ASME system certification.  Review vendor quotations and prepare technical bid tabulations. Review vendor documents and data for compliance with technical requirements.  Assist in preparation of proposals.
